The Genesis

One, two, three....Jump!! Wow, I made it! I've finally decided that my comfort is not more important than my obedience. I've decided to do the thing God has been tapping on my shoulder to do for the past 7 years. So here I am. Here it begins. The life of an introvert lived with God poured out for others to partake of. I have thoroughly enjoyed moving quietly behind the scenes wife-ing, mommy-ing and woman-ing with God over the past quarter of a century. Being a promoter, supporter and (prodder) of my husband's and children's successes over the years has been so fulfilling to me. I thoroughly enjoy playing a part in their victories. I have spent lots of time with God listening and strategizing on what their next move should be. So when He tapped me on the shoulder to begin to open up my life so that others could glean from my experiences I felt betrayed by Him. Go figure....betrayed by God?? But I'd been really cool with our quiet 2am or 3am board meetings in my quiet place for years but now He was asking me to go public and share with others the things I'd come to learn from Him about this wife-ing, mommy-ing and woman-ing thing.

So ladies, and maybe gentlemen, come on in, grab yourself a cup of tea or coffee (I'm definitely a tea drinker :) take a seat, look around. My desire is that you would read something here one day that will allow the light to come on in your own life as you are on your own journey as a woman, wife or mother that will help you master where you are. My desire also is to encourage a closer walk with the Father who made you a woman, wife and/or mother. He has the blueprint for it all and there is absolutely no way to do these things well without leaning in and pressing into The One Who skillfully and strategically designed all of it.
